More March Evanston Events
I've definitely fallen behind in posting about all of the events in Evanston that we've been enjoying! So here's a quick recap of more March activities, including some photos.
March 13
Film screening at the Block Museum: First Person Plural: New and Rediscovered Trans Documentary Shorts with filmmaker Connor O’Keefe.
March 14
Pi Day at Bennison's Bakery. We pre-ordered three of their special $3.14 mini pies -- blueberry, lemon meringue, and apple. Yum!
Happy Hour at Le Tour. We love the deal on the oysters!
March 15
WCE Revue 2025. We were a bit skeptical of the 8pm start time and 2+ hour runtime, but the show was fabulous! Such fun song parodies, and all for a really great cause.
March 16
Danceworks 2025: signal::transfer at Northwestern Performing Arts Center.
Exhibition at the Block Museum: Woven Being: Art for Zhegagoynak/Chicagoland. This was an amazing show featuring work by several local indigenous artists in a variety of media. I was particularly struck by the woven vases.
March 21
Concert at Evanston History Center: Duo F.A.E. We were both awestruck by this duo of a violinist and pianist performing works by contemporary female composers. Each piece was so powerful and complex, so watching the performers was truly like watching athletes. And how could we resist a concert with a song dedicated to the Notorious RBG?!
March 22
Another condo tour and dinner with M at Trattoria D.O.C. I think their grilled calamari appetizer may be my new favorite go-to meal!

Ok, so I'm jealous about those mini pies. I want them all in my mouth... NOW! Love reading about the adventures and can't wait to read more. All our best.
