Bathroom Remodel
We decided last summer that we'd finally move forward on remodeling our primary bathroom in our Sacto townhome. Given our split living between Sac and Evanston, the only time that made sense to have the project done while we're in CA for a couple of months was this winter. So despite scheduling my toe surgery for Jan. 6, we confirmed with our contractor for a start date of Jan. 12. The original estimate was for three weeks, but the great crew of S & J finished up in just 10 working days. Yay! We're really pleased with the result and were glad to have our bathroom back in full working order so that we didn't have to go to the nearby Y to shower every day...
Below are photos of before the remodel, after the demo, the staging area in our library space (and the barrier that Mr. E devised to keep the kitties out while the tile-cutting machine was in place), and the finished result.
Oh, and the kitties did quite well with being closed up in the office for most of each day with me while the work was going on! Of course they loved exploring when they could, too.
