Voting
So, for those CA readers out there, did you vote today? Despite whatever true lack of interest you may have in the outcome? I mean, I know the primary ain't too exciting (Westley vs. Angelides), and perhaps no other races caught your interest, but did you vote anyway?
And especially for all those women out there, who so often take for granted the struggles of those other women in the early 20th century... if you didn't vote, you should be ashamed! Even if you don't personally care about the results, at least honor the achievements and work and struggles of the suffragettes, many of whom suffered imprisonment and other nasty repercussions of their fight to win women the right to vote.
Kind of scary that women have had the "right" to vote for less than a century. Why is it that men never had to fight for their "right?" Hmm...
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
As my colleague S just said, "It's free and easy!"
VOTE!!!!!!!
