A Series of Unrelated Mahalo Moments

  • Seeing a wild turkey family (parents & babies) wandering around the yards in Campus Commons this morning when driving home from my doctor's appointment
  • The sticker in the women's restroom at Hamel Family Wines: "Please do not flush sanitary products, hopes, or dreams"
  • Noticing a book on the ground outside Beers Books during my long run last Friday, thinking from a distance that I recognized the cover, and realizing that I was correct and it was, indeed, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman, one of the selections we've read as a group as part of our CPCA "One Book" project
  • Voicemail greeting from C and Grammy at work this afternoon
