of working at home!

Finally...

The paint is on, the

furniture is all in place -

remodel complete!

A new rug under

the bed to define the space

(and keep our feet warm).

New loveseat and rug
in shades of brown and blue, but
Jack still likes his box...


If you look closely,
you can see Miss Calypso
enjoying the sun!

New Furniture!

Red loveseat upstairs
in the library loft. Dark
brown ottoman and

arm chair to replace
dining set in the corner
downstairs. And later

a plush brown loveseat
(on back order) will complete
our new bedroom nook.

Sacramento Winter

Tule fog descends,
lightly cloaking the city.
Mist hushes the dawn.

Steam rises and drifts
across the edge of the pool,
muffling sound and sight.

Buildings disappear
in the ethereal shroud
of NorCal's winter.

Trash

Sometimes, I just get
really tired of picking up
other people's trash.

Is it really so
hard to walk that extra step
to the garbage can?

Barely even a
foot away, and yet the trash
just can't quite get there...
